At the Project for Responsive Democracy, we are dedicated to helping everyone have a say in how our government works. In our country, many voices are often left out of important decisions. We believe that democracy is a practice and everyone should be heard beyond elections.
Our Vision
We envision a society where decision-making is accessible, impactful, and transparent at all levels of government. We believe that democracy thrives when all voices are heard and valued, and when those in government are responsive to the needs of the community, and accountable to doing the work toward our collective well-being.
Our Work
We create educational resources to help everyday people learn how to influence the rules and decisions that impact them. We also share new ideas and encourage creativity in how people can get involved. By sharing what works and trying out new ways to participate, we can create a democracy where everyone can help shape our collective future.
